Contact information

Last updated: 19 September 2026.

This page tells you exactly who you are buying from, how to reach us, and what to do if something goes wrong. It carries the trader identification details we are required to publish under the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

It is referred to throughout our Terms of Service, Shipping Policy, Return and refund policy and Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

STACK is a trading name of Harnek Padda, a sole trader established in Scotland, in the United Kingdom. The contract you enter into when you order is with Harnek Padda personally, trading as STACK, as explained in section 1 of the Terms of Service. We are not a limited company and therefore have no company registration number.

Trading name: STACK
Owner and trader: Harnek Padda
Legal form: sole trader
Country of establishment: Scotland, United Kingdom
VAT: not registered for VAT
Website: stackcouk.com
Email: stackcouk@gmail.com

Business and correspondence address:
STACK
16 Oliver Road
Falkirk
FK1 1SR
United Kingdom

This is our business and correspondence address, the address for legal notices and notices of cancellation under section 2 of the Return and refund policy, and the address returns go to under section 4 of that policy. It is not a shop, so there is no collection or drop-off service — returns come by post. Emailing us before you post is worth doing, because we can sometimes offer a cheaper route or tell you not to send it back at all, but it is not a condition of your refund.

2. How to reach us

stackcouk@gmail.com

Email is the fastest way to reach us and the right way to contact us about an order, a cancellation, a return, a fault, or a privacy request. We aim to reply within one working day, Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.

We do not operate a telephone line. Every enquiry is handled by email, which means both of us have a written record of what was said and agreed. Email is a durable means of contact and reaches us directly; we are not hiding behind a contact form.

We will never contact you after checkout asking for a payment to release a parcel, and we will never ask for your full card details by email. Section 6 of the Shipping Policy explains what to do if you receive a message of that kind.

3. What to include when you contact us

Giving us these details up front usually removes an entire round of back-and-forth:

  • Your order number
  • The email address you used to place the order
  • What you would like us to do
  • For a fault or transit damage: a short description, plus photographs or a short video if you are able to provide them

Photographs are helpful but not a condition of any refund. Section 13 of the Return and refund policy sets out what we may reasonably ask for, and the limits on it.

4. Complaints

If something has gone wrong, tell us and we will try to put it right. Email stackcouk@gmail.com with “Complaint” in the subject line. Our procedure has three steps:

  1. We acknowledge your complaint within one working day.
  2. We investigate and send you a full written response within 14 days. If we need longer, we will tell you why and give you a new date.
  3. If you are not satisfied with that response, reply and tell us why. A final written response will follow within a further 14 days. That final response will also tell you, in writing, about the alternative dispute resolution route in section 5 below.

Using this procedure is optional. It does not affect your legal rights, it does not pause any legal time limit, and it does not stop you taking the matter further at any point. In particular, a complaint to us is not a precondition of a complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office about how we have handled your personal information — section 12 of the Privacy Policy covers that route.

5. Alternative dispute resolution

If we have been through the complaints procedure in section 4 above and you are still not satisfied, alternative dispute resolution is an independent process you can consider instead of going to court.

Alternative dispute resolution is an independent process that can sometimes resolve a consumer dispute without court proceedings. We are not currently a member of an ADR scheme and do not commit in advance to participate in ADR. If a complaint remains unresolved, we will provide any information that applicable law requires about an appropriate accredited ADR provider. This does not affect your legal rights or your ability to seek independent advice or bring court proceedings.

None of that affects your legal rights. You remain free to seek independent advice, to use the free services in section 6 below, or to take court action. Section 16 of the Terms of Service sets out which courts have jurisdiction.

The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, when the Regulation that established it was repealed, and it cannot be used for a dispute with us. If you have seen an ODR link on another retailer's site, it no longer works.

6. Free, independent consumer advice

If you would like impartial advice about your rights, these services are free:

  • Scotland: Advice Direct Scotland — consumeradvice.scot — 0808 164 6000
  • England and Wales: Citizens Advice consumer service — citizensadvice.org.uk — 0808 223 1133
  • Northern Ireland: Consumerline — nidirect.gov.uk — 0300 123 6262

These services can also refer a matter to Trading Standards where appropriate.

7. Data protection contact

Privacy requests — access, correction, erasure, objection, or withdrawal of marketing consent — go to the same address, stackcouk@gmail.com. The data controller is Harnek Padda trading as STACK, and section 1 of the Privacy Policy explains why we have not appointed a Data Protection Officer. Section 12 of that policy sets out your rights, our response times, and how to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
